TYSON SMITH Director, DP, Editor, Producer, Craft Services email Tyson He works as the head illustrator for a math book publisher, illustrator and designer of ODDJOB a comic book from Slave Labor Graphics, and does an extensive amount of freelance illustration and design. As an internationally award winning graphic designer, he is heading up the graphic identity for the movie. For what Tyson lacked in on set experience he more than made up for in vigor and enthusiasm. For his first feature film production he remarked, "I may not have done this before, but I was going to do whatever it took to get this film made." And that's what he and his brother did, taking care of everything from assembling a small but experienced crew, casting their actors, organizing the production shoot, even putting together meals for everyone. "As much as I sacrificed to ensure the completion of the shoot on time, I wouldn't have never got it done without the tireless effort from my cast and crew," Tyson reflected. "The actors did such an amazing job," said Tyson, "they took a lot of stress off of me." Currently Tyson is entrenched in post-production getting the film edited, overseeing the marketing and soundtrack, putting up The Sexy Chef website, and planning the brother's second movie.
