NOAMI HALSEY (Wynonna) is a Native Oregonian, a rare breed indeed, and the second youngest of our cast, second youngest of our cast, Halsey easily slid into her role of Wynonna despite little witch in her background. She took the role and ran with it giving Wynonna the right combination of cynical pessimism and coy beauty.

Her acting bug bit early beginning with the 3rd grade play, The Ugly Duckling. She kept doing plays at Hermiston High School most notably Mash and You Can't Take it with You. She then attended Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR where she majored in Psychology and minored in Theater. Notable plays at PU included the musical Into the Woods and Little Murders.

In 1999 she received her BA in Psychology. Staying in Portland, she worked on her first film production, the short film The Life of Death by Greg James (our own Mike Buda and Marine). She was recommended by Todd Robinson (Tank), who also had a role in Life of Death, for our female lead. Noami moved to Washington DC and, after her 3-year stint at the NIH she moved to Boston and started doing research at a hospital. For the past year she has been a research coordinator in interventional radiology -- running clinical trials in non-pharmacologic analgesia (alternative medicine stuff) and has nearly completed the prerequisites for medical school. She took the MCAT in August and is now applying for entry in the fall of 2004. School and work has kept her too busy to pursue acting but her boyfriend and her dog help keep her sane.
