He grew up is a small house in the Southwest of Portland. He attended the local highschool, Woodrow Wilson High School. Then went on to Portland State University where he studied Theater Arts and German. He enjoys riding his mint-condition 1978 Suzuki GS750 motorcycle around town and on an annual motorcycle tour in the summer.
