film Life of Death which he wrote, directed, and produced, and will soon be sending
it out to the festival market. In addition to film, James has acted in and directed
over 40 stage productions throughout Oregon.
Regarding the role of Buda: "To be honest, I don't think Ty or Ian were sold on
me playing this part at first, with good reason. But, I knew that with just a bit
of make-up and hair, my acting would take him over the top. I played a younger stoner
character in a previous film, and Buda was a lot like what I think of if that character
had a father. I'm glad it happened, because my time spent on this movie was full of
laughs and fun. And winning $250 at the casino slot during one of the shoots was cool too."
